Returns & Warranty-Replacements
Unless otherwise specified in the item listing on our website, on the receipt or packing slip, or in the following terms, an order may be refunded only within 14 days of the original purchase date. All shipping charges are non-refundable. Send Email with your name, invoice number, and details about the return to: email@example.com or call 718-528-2813.
All returned products will be thoroughly inspected and a determination will be made if eligibility and conforming requirements are met. Products must be in New and unopened with original packaging.
In the event that the product you are returning does NOT meet the requirements described in this document, we will:
1) Photograph the merchandise and packaging, and prepare a detailed summary of our determination as to why the return was denied
2) The product(s) deemed ineligible for return will be returned to you.
If Parts Crew, at our sole discretion, decides to accept a non-qualified item for return, a restocking fee of up to 25% will be assessed.
Return processing may take up to 5 business days from the time your product is received by Parts Crew.
When returning an item, the following will apply:
All shipping fees on orders outside of the 48 continental United States are the responsibility of the customer.
Parts Crew shall not be held liable for packages lost in transit.
Order is less than 30 days old from Order Date:
If the order is less than 30 days old from the order date, the customer must contact Parts Crew by email or phone and request a RMA Number. After the item is received by Parts Crew for processing, Parts Crew will send out a replacement unit. If the order is within 14 days of purchase date, the customer may elect to have a refund issued instead. All shipping charges are non-refundable. If an immediate replacement is required before processing can occur, the customer can purchase a second unit from Parts Crew to be shipped to the customer at once. This shipping charge will be shipped at Parts Crew’s expense. After Parts Crew receives the returned unit, Parts Crew will issue a refund for the second purchase. Send Email with your name, invoice number, and details about the replacement to: email@example.com or call 718-528-2813.
Custom Made Items-Refunds
Custom made items cannot be refunded unless unit is returned within 14 days of purchase and is in 'NEW' and 'UNUSED' condition with original packaging and free from damage of any type, including, but not limited to dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement or indication of removed screws/fasteners or seals. All custom made items are subject to a 25% restocking fee regardless of condition of unit. All shipping charges are non-refundable.
If a returned unit is received by Parts Crew and the unit is not deemed 'New’, Parts Crew will offer to repair the unit and ship the unit back to the customer at said customer's expense. For your protection, we recommend that you insure your return and use a traceable carrier that can provide you with delivery confirmation.
Custom Made Items-Replacement
When sending a return to Parts Crew for repair or replacement, send the item to Parts Crew with a description of what is wrong with the item and Parts Crew will repair or replace the item. For your protection, we recommend that you insure your return and use a traceable carrier that can provide you with delivery confirmation. Parts Crew shall not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit. Postage and handling charges, both to and from our warehouse will be paid by the customer, and are non-refundable. At our discretion, Parts Crew may reimburse shipping charges related to the return or replacement of defective products inside the U.S. only.
Labor fees are not covered under our Returns/Exchanges/Replacements Policy.
Core Return Policy
What is a core?
When a vehicle is repaired, the old or failed part that was replaced is called a core. These cores are then remanufactured (recycled) by companies to original equipment specifications. Remanufacturing is the process of taking used parts, completely disassembling and thoroughly cleaning them, replacing the faulty and/or worn components with original quality components, and restoring them to their original function. The testing and procedures are the same as the original equipment manufacturers.
Your shipment or other return of any core or other product to Parts Crew or PartsCrew.com is considered a transfer of ownership, and Parts Crew will be unable to return the core or other product to you.
Core Return to Parts Crew
To return a core to Parts Crew, first drain all fluids, if any, from the product.* Then request a CORE RETURN and include it along with the core in the original packaging and/or box in which your new product was sent. Send Email with your name, invoice number, and details about the CORE RETURN to: firstname.lastname@example.org
You will not be reimbursed for shipping costs incurred in shipping the core to Parts Crew. You are responsible for verifying and complying with proper shipping requirements of your selected carrier.
Assuming the core passes inspection, the credit card you used to purchase the new product will be credited in the amount of the core's value as indicated by the inspection. If you do not have the credit card, or you purchased with Paypal or another payment method, simply enclose a copy of your receipt and the product, and Parts Crew will credit your account in the amount of the value of the core. If the core does not pass inspection, you will not be reimbursed for it.
If you are not shipping from a U.S. location, any shipping costs you incur in returning the core will not be reimbursed.
*Please recycle or properly dispose of fluids drained from the returned part. The parts must be free of all flammable and hazardous fluids before shipment. Contact your local recycling agency for instructions on proper disposal.
